Normally I would appreciate the engineering, a bit OTT for me. I'm sure there are easier ways to turn the back wheels.

Makes me chuckle, those people are of course engineers and they are interested in engineering and the challenge of building. There are much much easier ways to 650bhp surely? If they do get it runnning and eventually get to the ring the car will be on ebay within a year because the builder will have got bored with it (now its finished) and started on something new.

Certainly a challenge putting twin cam heads on a RV8 block but......

I have to agree, 30 years ago you could not easily get V8 twin cam, now for £150 off eBay you get your choice so scrap an Audi.

Way over the top for my liking.

Its good to see their project and imaginative solution, but engineering is about solving a problem efficiently and cost effectively, and that is neither for a 650 bhp V8
