Interior mirror

Hi Can anyone recommend a rear view mirror that sticks to the windscreen that doesn't vibrate. I have an adhesive fixed rear view mirror on my Indy and looking through it is virtually impossible due to the vibration. Any suggestions appreciated. John

Have you considered it may not be thew mirror causing the problem? I would be checking the screen mountings or even the engine mounts to relieve the vibration.

Hi

A few years ago when I had my Pinto(2.0,Std Cam & Twin 40 Webers, it was the engine causing the vibration, cured it by balancing the carbs, they were only slightly out but enough to cause vibration. the mirror turned out to be a good tuning guide.

Hope that helps, or at least makes you smile as you take the mickey.

it sounds like excessive engine vibration to me. I have now mounted a classic style mirror on the scuttle, it only ever vibrates on idle when the engine is warming up and the auto choke is on. Previously I used a suction mirror on the windscreen, that was the same.
