Apologies if this has been covered before but are all mx5 propshafts the same spline on the gearbox end. I need one for a hybrid prop and there's a marked difference in price between the mk2.5 and mk3.

Mk1 to Mk2.5 should all be the same spline as they share a common gearbox but I would expect the Mk3 to be different.

I have a Mk 2.5 propshaft that is

a) for sale

b) available for photo's of either end if it helps (irrespective of a) obviously)

Not so much photos but if you could measure the diameter and how many splines I can compare to my box and see if we're close.

From memory, the Mk3 is 23 splines. Could be wrong on that, though.

The mk2 prop fits a mk3(N7) box.
