Hi all,

I've just had the email confirming the next available date for the track day.

It's on Friday 13th March 2015.

It's the same deal as before, it's £100 per car and no extra for extra drivers or passengers.

I just need a £40 deposit and the balance by the 14th February.

Or, by cash or cheque to;
Frank Hall,

Matlock Bath,
Matlock,
Derbyshire,
De4 3ns.

Spread the word people, tell anyone who you think will be interested.

Cheers Frank.

What do you mean?
To most of us, Blyton is practically France!!!

Jon Ison - 23/9/14 at 05:31 PM

Camping, toilets, showers and great company what more do you need, if you don't have a camp bed I have a huge supply of Blyton specials free of charge, oh and as already mentioned, pizza.

Sorry no excuses, it's worth traveling too.

carpmart - 10/10/14 at 10:03 AM

fha772 - 10/10/14 at 10:26 AM

SCAR - 11/10/14 at 06:55 AM

Enjoyed watching and chatting at the last one, will try and have something on track for this one. Might even set this as a target date to have the Spire running.

daniel mason - 11/10/14 at 11:35 AM

Frank. Can I bring an open wheeler?
There was them open wheeled drakarts there last time!

daniel mason - 14/11/14 at 08:22 PM

Frank. any news from Richard to see if I'm ok with a single seater, and possibly another mate of mine in a single seater?
Might need to be careful as Bradley is insanely fast In his jedi. One of the fastest cars I've ever seen

Oddified - 5/3/15 at 05:36 PM

Just sent you my remaining balance of £60 by paypal, see you next week

Hopefully the weather will be ok!

Ian

mark chandler - 5/3/15 at 05:53 PM

As long as he uses his mirrors

On a serious note insanely fast low single seaters and track days don't mix to well.

daniel mason - 5/3/15 at 06:08 PM

No.thats why were not allowed to come

carpmart - 8/3/15 at 01:08 PM

Yep, too fast for everything else and frustrating for the Jedi driver too!

daniel mason - 8/3/15 at 03:42 PM

Don't think I would have been too fast but the Jedi certainly would blitz anything in sight,
At the sprint last year I did a standing start 65.68 lap in the radical, he did a 61 in the Jedi!

laptoprob - 8/3/15 at 09:25 PM

Rest of money paid up Frank, sorry its late. Im sure i will be coming along with one or two more but ill let you know in a day or so.

MsD - 8/3/15 at 09:28 PM

Evening guys,
Just a couple of quick questions.....

What time does it start?

I'm driving the 7 down to the track and wondered I would be alright leaving some tools(Jack, socket set etc) somewhere whilst I'm out on track?

Cheers, Mark.

Jon Ison - 8/3/15 at 09:46 PM

It will loosley be sign on from 8 ish, briefing 8.30 ish followed by sighting laps then open pit lane all day.

Your tools ect will be perfectly safe, leave anything large like the jack, sockets ect at home, park next to me the van door will be open all day all I ask is put back what you use, genuine offer just bring any bits you think no one else will have.

SCAR - 9/3/15 at 09:08 AM

Weather forecast looking ok.

fha772 - 9/3/15 at 11:06 AM

Thanks guys.

The day starts from 8mm with signing in, then the briefing starts at 9-9:30, followed by sighting laps, then open pitlane for the rest of the day, with an hour for lunch at 12-1.

Also, there's still places left if anyone wants to come last minute.
You're more than welcome to turn up on the day, and pay on arrival, just call/text me on 07815070491.

Cheers Frank.

JoelP - 10/3/15 at 07:02 AM

How bad is it if you miss the briefing? I think id struggle to get over that early. I'll give you cash at the scene if that's OK?

Jon Ison - 10/3/15 at 08:12 AM

My son arrived late last year (we knew he would) I asked when I signed on and they gave him a short 1 to 1 briefing and a wrist band upon arrival.

fha772 - 10/3/15 at 09:05 AM

Joel, if you're late they will give you a briefing and sign you in.

owelly - 10/3/15 at 01:39 PM

I can't decide which car to bring!! I've just been reminded that the Turd has a bad misfire the last time it was out to play. I guess it still has the misfire....... So should I bring the little Puma?

Or fix the misfire

Ian

owelly - 10/3/15 at 02:43 PM

The misfire is intermittent so hard to find. I'm at work now so won't have time to fix it. I could always take a few things and try to fix it in the paddock. Or take a car that works!

Jon Ison - 10/3/15 at 05:47 PM

To much power draw by your mamby pamby electric power steering

owelly - 10/3/15 at 06:20 PM

I'll pull the fuse and let you try to drive it......

Jon Ison - 10/3/15 at 06:43 PM

Admit it, the misfires just traction control hidden in your illegal ecu, when Frank Mosley gets to hear about it you may end up banned

Cheers for this Jon!

A newly fitted engine and a 2.30hour drive starting in Heavy rain over Preston and carrying on into Leeds down bode well! But at least it looks dry for Blyton.

Mark.

welderman - 13/3/15 at 07:57 AM

Your driving down Mark !
Hope you don't get too wet
