Car repaired after the fire

Got the car back (thanks to Snodhurst Service Station) with all the fire damage fixed

Starting to look like I wanted it all along (one colour as a start!)

Looking really nice now - not that it was nasty before.
Up-side is it happened in the right place (unlike some-one who had the misfortune to choose the top of the Pyrenees - James IIRC?).
As a matter of interest do you know what caused it?

Oil line came off the remote filter unit and the pumped the contents of the sump over the exhaust.

Phew, could have been a lot worse. Looks great they have done a good job.

Out of interest, how have you attached the perspex covers for your lights?

The fiberglass did go it was like dry grass and had to be removed to enable the repair.
