Might Of Sold My Car
I've had a offer on my MAC#1, had a lot of emails going backward and forward to a guy in Italy, we've agreed on a price....but because hes
in Italy he after my bank details and will arrange a transporter to pick the car up
hes after these details
I send him a private bill of sale with my bank details on iban and BIC/swift code and a copy of document of the car
Once the payment is in the bank and cleared the transportation will be arranged.
Im just a bit worried about giving out these details, has my bank be got at with these details
I give out my bank details ( account and sort ) daily to my customers but not heard of these details above.
Will give my bank a call ( which is always fun ) tomorrow

Can't you just set up another bank account with no o/d facilities ect.

i recently bought a car using iban,totally ireversibubble and safe (so the muppet behind the counter said)

I think you need IBAN for inter country transfer

Hi can i ask who the person in italy is as i sold my dax to italy,
i was in the same postion as you and was very very nervous,
but wall all ok in the end,
but boy did i ring the bank every day and check everything,

The guy seems decent enough, just never of this type of transaction
Its a guy called Leonardo Gasparini, hes got a couple of westfields and his mate is after a BEC so hes been asking all the questions.
