MSnSE software copy from old computer to new one?

Hello,

On my old laptop (has a knackered battery so can only use on the mains and therefore no good for data collection on the road) I have an old version of MSnSE, 029q. I now have a shiny new laptop which is ideal for this job however, I can only download the current version of the software which will not read from my ecu. Now I don't want to start again as what I have is quite close to being perfect so I don't want to upgrade to the new code and go through all the pain I have already experienced just to be back to where I am now.

So, my question is, can I copy the original program to a memory stick and then to my computer and get it to work?
