Westfield SEi restoration - revamp/rethink
Hi,
This looks like a great forum! I’m new to this site but I’ve started a Westfield SEi restoration so thought this a great place to visit for research
and advice on parts of the car that need a revamp/rethink.

Welcome! Yes it is. Just a bit quiet with christmas shopping I think.
Dont think you can go wrong for that money though.

That’s an absolute bargain and a great project a complete strip down a shot blast powder coat and start again look forward to seeing it progress.

Looks a good project at a very good price. That's a £10K+ car once properly sorted
A mate has a very similar spec Westy (C20XE, ITBs etc) albeit in better shape.

Thanks hopefully some TLC and elbow grease can start the fight back to former glory:0) I see you have a Haynes roadster? I bought the book with good
intentions, the westi will be my substitute project;0)

Thanks, if weather permits i will give the chassis a proper inspection in the next few days. I think I was lucky with the price ;0)

Yeah, just finished this year. Bit of a beast with its BMW 328i engine

Ha ha did you really send him the mug? 
Looks like that car has been sat out under a sheet for a while.
But as above,its a bargain for £2.5k.
One request if possible,more footage of actual work on the car in future episodes please,less of the 'I'm a youtuber I love the sound of
my own voice' footage!

Lol you might like the next episode then, as more bout the car and less of me:0) And yes he’s still moaning about that mug, but my plan is to bring
him on and get him a drive once done:0)

I must admit one pulled into a garage next to me yesterday with all black parts and a full roll cage with a hard top and it did look EPIC....It was
food for thought!!!!! Once she's fully up and running i might make one or two mods, and she's crying out for stripes I reckon
