Westfield SEi restoration-Part 3 Good to see it tipped by HPI & Pistonheads

Making progress now I'm getting up close and personal with the car. Great also to see HPI and Pistonheads tipped the Westi as a buy, good news for owners and values;o)

Hi

Keep up the good work.

Content is spot on and I can’t believe you’ve only got 100 subscribers.

Maybe if you bought a tripod?...............

Cheers
Gary

I would consider changing the rollbar to something that will offer better protection if I was doing this rebuild/upgrade

Also if you are getting the rollbar powder coated I wouldn't get the windscreen pillars polished, they will look much better powder coated the same colour as the roll bar

Cheers, a couple of ppl said a similar thing bout rollbar, they mentioned the rac cage. For now I figured i’ve got enough jobs to do on the car, so the thought of installing new kit that requires the boot section to be drilled and cut to accept the additional arms, means I’m going to refurb for now:0)......But once she’s all done I’ll consider future improvements:0)

On the windscreen, nar I like the silver, and it works with the black. I’ve bought the black headlights wiv silvers rims so will all match in

Polished metal/chrome has no place on a sports car!

Leave that to the MGB enthusiasts
