Master cylinder reservoir

Was hoping to remote mount a reservoir as the steering column UJ is hitting it.

Thought it would be an easy job....

....Typically my M/C doesn't look as though it will be easy to do?

I've tried to ID what its off on BrakesInt - closest I can find is Capri? (ran out of viewings)

I can't actually get the reservoir off, I assumed the end that wasn't screwed in was push fit....I can lift the car up it's in so tight!!!

I've tried winding in case there's a thread, also reverse in case it's left handed.

Can't get the damn thing off & don't wanna bust it.

So taken the whole lot out

Could someone confirm or not if it is pushed in before I get medieval on it?

Also has anyone got any tips if they have remotely mounted this particular type of M/C.

1st Pic is of the M/C with the reservoir rotated out of the way.

If it is a Capri and it looks like it is then you can't put a remote res on it as far as i can tell you may be able to convert a Sierra M/C but not the one you have as it is too old.
