Can anybody shed some light on this or is it just the phone system again. Kit Parts Direct = Phone:+44 1482 591645

Other recent positives, although these seem to be for small items or items with no link to listing.

I had a similar issue however I phoned and it was sorted immediately.

I ordered some carbon bits on the 4th. Called on the 21st as they say 7-10 working days.

They apologized and I received on the 22nd.

I spoke with a guy called Neil, who was very helpful and sorted the job for me.

I will be continuing to use them and was happy in the end, products look great.

Give them a call ; 0203 432 2679

Many thanks

Dan

Diffrent company I think, the number you list is a company in essex called Kit Car direct.

The one in question are called kit parts direct and are based in Hull.

Theres a 3rd called kit spares which cause further confusion. They are owners of GBS and i think they have links with kit parts (ex business partner going a seperate ways or similar IIRC)

The one which is based in Hull (area Hull area code is 01482) is I believe run by the guy you used to be involved with GBS (Robin Hood), the one based in Nottingham (area) is the parts business of the current GBS owners (Richard Hall etc). Alastair, call me if you need a further explaination. Suppose I better go and play with some spreadsheets....

in the meanwhile its march..and this dealer has collected a rather bad feedback with ebay now. parts are offered , but do not arrive at the buyers.

how ebay is allowing such people to run a shop?

people often tend to click buy-now first, followed by reading the feedback, even it should be done vice versa.

also prices are very "attractive"...so if it comes to the price people often forget to switch on their brain!!

after the nightmare with kitparts direct (finally i got my money back from paypal!!)

next approach:
ordered some parts at kitcardirect.co.uk

not all parts in stock as they are made after order....but payment needs to be made immediately

so i ordered the parts at 10th march 2014 , paid instantly....and i´m waiting...and waiting....

04th april i got an email incl. tracking number: parts are delivered

10th april i checked myselves online with the treacking number: number unknown

i sent them an email...and got a reply next day (11th)

"The parcel hasn’t been collected from us yet – the courier hasn’t turned up so I have chased this and I will let you know when it’s been collected.I don’t know why ???"

11th april i sent them an email asking about the status

no reply until 15th!!!!!!

so i phoned them today: sales department was busy, but got an email reply:

"thanks for calling us. We have rescheduled the collection of your parcel twice - we did it again today. I don't know why the courier has not collected them yet ? It has been sitting waiting for a courier for a few days now. We can only ship this parcel by this courier due to the size and weight. We cannot use a different courier as we do not have accounts with anyone else in Germany. I will let you know when the parcel has been collected. Apologies for the delay."
