I used to go to Teeside when it first opened many moons ago for an epic 6 hour moped race.. Great day out indeed..

Was at a trackday at Cadwell last Friday, and they were turning up for a six hour race the following day. Does look like a bit of fun.

Reminds me of when I was 16, and did stupid things on a C50

"I had a 1976 Suzuki ap50 with pedals!" Same here. Never did figure out how to pedal it though.

My mates were there this year. They were in the video on the start line, fat right with the orange and white bike. They got swamped.

It's meant to be fun and all racing worn stock machines. It's not, some teams take it very sofa and everybody cheated!!

They did get a hand in the form of a push down the straights from the gadget guys. Just put out their hand and gave them a push or pull!!

balidey - 20/10/14 at 10:42 PM

I used to do that.
We did the BMF at Peterborough for a number of years. And did the RAF Wittering event for a couple of years.
Some insane racing. It sounds easy, but a 6 hour endurance race was tough. But a bloody good laugh.

I tried and it was nigh on impossible! I doubt Bradley Wiggins would be able to go more than 500yds!
