Yes lovely

But the way things are going in 15 years time there will be houses on it

Or it will 'offend' someone. (Sorry too much Facebook)

So they haven't closed that bridge for maintenance yet!
(Closure will mean a 20-mile detour to go from 1 side of the village to the other...)

It is indeed.

We had nothing much on today so we decided on a picnic on the green.
It turned out it was the day of the annual three legged race round the pond and over the bridge.

In the photo if you look too the extreme right there's a goose. It was pretty savage at being turned off
it's pond and chased and hissed at anything that came near.

The white Triumph (?) owner came over for a chat (the car in front of the pond) and said he had toured
Europe 15 times in that car and had only broken down once. The points gap closed up apparently.

Cheers All

But only a 20 metre swim

Whoooooosh.

Sorry, but that passed over my head. I don't "do" any "social media" stuff.

Most likely it's a listed monument to something and has to stay untouched

Thanks, but this is better. Not mine I might add. Same place but taken as the Tour de France passed through.
