Greetings- long time no see!
James - 19/12/18 at 05:34 PM

Greetings All,

Not sure when I last posted regularly but I've been a busy boy with house renovation and kickboxing** so sorry to say I've barely had time to even lurk here in a few years.

Anyway, house nearly done so I'm determined to get the Locost back on the road in 2019. Went over to look at the car this week and it's in a bit of a sorry state but assuming mice haven't eaten the loom, the tyres haven't gone square and I can fix the misfire I discovered last time I ran it then it'll be back on the road again for Spring!

Hope you're all keeping well,
James

EDIT: ** Oh, and a couple of kids- probably shouldn't forget them!

I'm still here, as is The Conrod Kid, though he's now doing bucket and spade things having moved to Weston Super Mud a few years ago.

My F27's been garage bound since I was seduced by a supercharged Mk1 Mazda Eunos about 6 years ago.
That's been sitting on the drive since early summer with a mis-fire.
It doesnt help that having passed another milestone birthday I decided to drop the SAAB 9-5 Estate after 16 years ownership for a newer, bucket list option.
Bucket list said to own a V8 so I went for a one-owner, MY2010 Beemer 550i M-Sport Touring.
As they say "there's no substitute for litres" - ain't that the truth )

We ought to arrange a meet at either Newlands or Pinewood and see who we can tempt out in whatever they're peddling nowadays?
What do you think?

Festive greetings to all.
Cheers, Pewe10

Welcome back James - it's certainly been a while - sounds like you've been pretty occupied though!

Hope all goes well getting the car back on the road.
