One of those Lancs flew from Hamilton Ontario Canada, from the Canadian Warbird Heritage, ex-RCAF to join the RAF Lancaster.
I was at the Canadian Warbird Heritage a couple of days before it left for England.
They were rushing to finish the inspections for the flight.
The route followed that of many Canadian built Avro and Dehavilland aircraft that supported the war effort.

The Canadian one has been passing my work in Grimsby fairly often this week. Apparently it's running pleasure flights out of Humberside airport,
if you don't mind £3500 for a 1/2 hr flight. I'd be tempted if I had that sort of money laying about. Someone from my work has a phone app
that lets you track the BBMF planes, but I don't know what it is called.

If you had £3500 and liked your planes, i think that would be a bargain for a flight in one of the only 2 remaining lancs still in the air!!
a very rare sight to see one in the sky let alone both together!

Prepare to be envious. The lancs and the Vulcan flew over my work on their way to lincoln the other day. I heard them coming and ran outside. The
old Vulcan was giving off a bit of smoke! Totally awesome!
Wait, there's more. I bought tickets to the 3 lancs day at kirkby airfield on 3 Sep. The day when the two flying and the 1 non flying will be
together. Go me! I only got the tickets because of a eagle eyed locostbuilder posted up on here about it.
