Bike versus car
Hi guys,
I need a little help in decideing which to go for. I have a donor engine sierra and am buying an mnr but wish to fit a bike engine. Firstly i need to
know the difference in the price its going to cost me with having to put in reverse and is it alot harder to fit the bike engine components than it is
a car engine. Thanks a million guys and sorry for annoyances just trying to get it all sorted and not make the wrong decisions.
Cheers

In all honestly, the installation of the bike components is more straightforward I would say. If you have the engine for the car, then depending on
what bike motor you went for, you would need to budget (to use my engine as an example) an addidtional £1000-1100. You then need to deal with
reverse. Marc @ MNR has recently developed an electric reverse which would be your cheapest option. It's probably worth asking him what it
costs.

When i was looking i was worried about a lack of reverse.
Its really no problem you don't 'need' one.

You can - consider CBR1000F or ZX9.
They'll still be a clot quicker than your DOHC and could be as cheap as £350.

You can get 919 'Blades cheap enough now, and even though it is by no means a quick engine compared to some, it's a good solid engine and
would only be embarrassed on road or track by another car with a better driver!
