The old Honda C50/70/90 had an automatic clutch. Failing that, the Honda 250 & 400 Superdream had an automatic gearbox.

Any help?

My Superdream didn't have anything automatic about it, it even had a kick start. Have a look at chainsaw centrifugal clutch which throws out with revs like a scooter clutch.

There weren't many made ... and for good reason - they lacked power in manual form so add an auto box and they were even slower.

Look at Piaggio, honda, Yamaha and Peugeot. They all make automatic transmissions for scooters. Some with 600cc engines.

Hmm that looks ok for a go-kart but too agricultural for anything serious. What are you bulding Kamikza? A 'scooter type bike' would need something very compact.

Why compact i was tinking of runing it on a 400 ccm Diesel

Looking at your other thread it looks like you are building a trike which means you might get a little more room - but that transmission outlined in the drawing is agricultural to say the least! I hope you are not intending to travel at more than 20mph with all those cogs & belts spinning around a few inches under your ar$e!

Tecumseh/Comet do a torque converter for this application.
