Some of us remembered you mentioning you were getting 2 sets. (or was it 2.5 sets?)

Beautiful wheels. I would love a set of those, my bank account wouldn't like it much though.

Just out of interest, why is the writing backwards?

jeffw - 7/2/17 at 08:28 PM

Might need to start fitting some tyres to this lot.

It isn't actually, I flipped the picture while I was editing it and left it when I should have rotated it.

Ah ok, that thought had crossed my mind after I posted!

I do hope pics will follow shortly of them fitted to the car!

jeffw - 7/2/17 at 10:40 PM

It is off next weekend to have a body make over so will look very different (well a little different) once the Cyana wide arch kit it on it

Shooter63 - 7/2/17 at 10:57 PM

Very nice they are too, but the important question, how much for your Comps?

Shooter

Patten - 7/2/17 at 10:58 PM

Fancy loaning me then CXR's

jeffw - 8/2/17 at 06:15 AM

I have 2 pairs of 13" 6J CXRs and 1 pair of 13" 7J ET0 CXR. The 6J ones are ET18 and the 7J ones need respraying if you wanted them for 'best'. They are all satin black.

Open to offers.

beautiful rims,
both of aesthetics as well as weight.
if you get a chance,
you could have the total weight of the rubber to the rim 8 "
I'm doing a thought ...

Let me guess....you are going to make some out of Titanium?

there would not be any advantage to produce titanium.
because titanium weighs more than aluminum.
maybe if you want to go to extremes you can replace the 20 bolts holding the rim star with other titanium.
although the weight savings would be related.

I was only joking

It may be heavier but its also stronger so you can use less of it...... I will shut up now

do not mess about these things Peter.
This is serious stuff. :-) ;-)
Jokes aside,
you can use less material seen its greatest strength and absolutely correct.
I had previously done a similar thought.
thinking only change the center of the rim star.
but only the material cost more than € 1000
not including labor.
Although it would have its charms.

Jeff, how deep are your pockets?

jeffw - 8/2/17 at 06:58 PM

Deep but Titanium is not the ideal material in this instance I would think.

I'll try and sneak the scales out of the bathroom and put a wheel+tyre on it.

jeffw - 9/2/17 at 12:51 PM

First pair of 10" rears are here

Andy D - 9/2/17 at 02:40 PM

Is the other one black?

jeffw - 9/2/17 at 02:52 PM

Yeap

Samuele - 9/2/17 at 05:06 PM

beautiful

jeffw - 9/2/17 at 05:09 PM

Carl at Force Racing does lots of Titanium work as well so you will find a kindred spirit.

TimC - 10/2/17 at 08:50 AM

Do these come in brown?

jeffw - 10/2/17 at 08:51 AM

If you want them too, yes.

CNHSS1 - 10/2/17 at 11:56 AM

Nice rimmage Jeff
Combo of splitties and slicks makes a big weight saving over 1Bs and cast wheels doesn't it

jeffw - 10/2/17 at 05:59 PM

Certainly does....
