Palmer Sport Full Day
cerbera - 6/1/14 at 12:29 PM

I have been very fortunate and received a Palmer Sport day for xmas. I'm all booked in and ready to go for 28th May, will feel like an eternity until then, and I am already getting butterflies.

Anyone else done one of these events?

my Bro did one as a corporate day. Hes done a few over the years but that was the first palmer day. everything has paddle shift, M3, single seaters, Palmer Jag so if you make a mistake it doesn't bust the cars.

he thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the single seater and the palmer jag as they have a bit of aero too, although he did stuff his face at lunch with all the expensive seafood and then chuck it up after climbing from the jag as the G forces did nothing to keep it down lol. The M3 and alfa (?) did feel like HGVs against the track stuff

he did say that the instructors were very much pushing him hard to go quicker, whereas pervious events hes attended they don't want you to break the cars. the palmer setup is more aggressive which he felt was great.

enjoy :-)

I did Palmer full day must say it was fantastic the instructors put you at ease straight away I managed a lovely spin and the instructor said I should have kept the power on for longer and laughed, I crapped myself not literally but what a day diverse array of cars brilliant.

I've done them through work for the last 7-yrs! Great fun, you'll love it.

One slight thing from the posts above - they are all paddle shift, with the exception of the Caterhams.

I've done the full day twice (luckily I didn't have to pay), and they are fantastic. Unlike other circuit trackdays, they push you harder and harder, no rev limits!!

You will love it.

Thanks for all the replies. Definitely the kind of response I was hoping for and expecting.

Well time is nearly here. Was hoping for a dry day but the forecast isn't the best for tomorrow.

I know it's a long shot, but anyone else from here attending Palmer Sport tomorrow?
