a mate was telling me that you can fit a 1.6 pinto flywheel on a 2.0 pinto, the advantage being it is supposed to weigh about 6lb less

Yep,but not sure if the fly wheel is lighter i think its the clutch assembly as there is less of it.

Might be worth doing a search as this has come up before,a couple of us weighed a 1.6 and 2.0 flywhhel and the 1.6 actually came out a touch heavier

So we prosume because the clutch is smaller its lighter.

1.6 flywheel is .6kg heavier than a 2.0, we didn't get a weight for the respective clutches.

yeah 1.6 fly wheel is heavyer its a fact ! this subject was rasied a few weeks ago.

any one know of a lighter stock flywheel that will fit the 2.0i????
