c20xe to type 9. shifting issues

iv recently started having trouble getting my car into gear. it was always a slight struggle going into 1st but all other shift were effortless. now it is extremely difficult finding gears. 1st and 2nd seem to be the worst. I also feel that I have to use extra force just to get it out of gear sometime. when I press the clutch pedal in 1st the clutch isn't fully disengaging.

once in gear the car still pulls great with no slipping. there is also no strange noise etc..

gearbox? linkages? clutch? thrust bearing?
any ideas of what could be up would be greatly appreciated.

Spigot bearing can cause similar symptoms to a clutch dragging which will cause difficulties with gears , it could be you need to adjust the clutch ?

Hi. It's a cable operated clutch that's in it.

Have you tried adjusting the clutch? Do you have too much slack in the pedal? As I stated in my first post a faulty spigot bearing WILL cause your symptoms, had the same problem last year on my car
