The one car I like that I've seen for sale recently is eBay item 161078427153.

Same as always road or track? Comfort or stripped.

For me in my situation I would be buying an oldish but well sorted BEC next for track only, not road.maybe ex RGB.
Then putting a turbo on it.

Thats about 6k for car and 3k for mods.

Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!

Please read my ring story:

CEC westfield. zetec, duratec or c20xe. all of which will be fast enough.
one thing ive learnt on track is that no matter how fast your car is,there will be someone in a much slower car than you going much faster than you.
the moral of the story is the driver is more important than the car. and you would need to be a very good driver to get the maximum out of any 7 type car!

All ST170's are Zetecs with a VVT head and a Duratec badge. Blame Ford.

Yes that's Ford for you (they call it a Duratec even though it's really a Zetec) They're even calling the 1.2 Fiat engine in the Ka a Duratec these days!!
