1600 xflow complete package

Advertising for a friend (LCB member Sheps). The time has come for a power upgrade so the retro cool xflow is coming out in favour of a supercharged MX5 engine. :-)
The engine has been faultless over the past three seasons of trackdays, sprints, hillclimbs and autotesting. The car is this years Isle of Wight autotest champion with five wins and a second in 6 rounds.
We'd rather sell the whole lot as one but will split if required.
Any questions just ask.

I will hopefully start a thread on the new install too. :-)

1600 xflow, complete package.
Hi all, selling my set-up, only due to upgrade.
Spec:

1600 xflow with 1300 GT balanced pistons, standard bore.
Standard crank and rods with ARP rod bolts.
Kent BCF2 camshaft, timed in correctly with offset dowel.
Ported 1600 GT cylinder head.
Shortened/lengthened sump with removable baffle and windage tray.
Lightened flywheel.
Heavy duty clutch.
Lucas/Aldon electronic ignition.
4" billet steel crank pulley.
High capacity oil pump.
15psi oil pressure switch.
Modified breather system for use with catch tank.
Inertia starter plus solenoid.
Alternator with larger pulley.
4 into 1 large bore exhaust headers with 2inch twin silencer system, with lambda boss.
36mm bike carbs on custom aluminium manifold, with foam sausage filter and correct bike fuel pump.
Type 9 5 speed gearbox.

Fully rebuilt around 2.5 years ago using new everything. Bearings, rings, gaskets, seals, core plugs, water pump etc etc.
Assembled with the utmost care using Graphogen.
Only covered 2000 miles since.
Starts on the button, and runs without fault. No knocks rattles or smoke.
Very well maintained and serviced.
Still in the car, so can be driven, then removed and taken with you.
Also happy to pallet and send, for cost.

There are some videos on my YouTube of it starting from cold, showing oil pressure, and running up to temperature etc.
Also some of it being driven.

£2000.

Thanks
Sheps
