Supertech Pistons

Anyone used them?
Trying to decide which pistons to use in the rebuild (Mazda 1.8 BP) and these low expansion pistons seem like a good choice at a reasonable cost. Claimed the low expansion alloy allows OEM clearance eliminating initial start up rattle normal with forged pistons that require larger bore clearance.

I have the high compression ones in my 2.0 duratec. As do many others, they’re well made and perfect fit on gudgeon pin and bore. Imported from USA.

The OEM pistons I am using in my ongoing 3SGE engine build are of the hypereutectic variety. As you say, they require a laughably small clearance. Although, reportedly, not as strong as forged pistons they are not far short. I bought mine from a Toyota engine building specialist who uses them in the majority of his builds.
