Zetec thermostat housing

Bought a new zetec thermostat housing off ebay couple of years ago and only done around 1500 miles with it and its leaking already! Leaking between the outlets for the heater and the main body, so nothing i can do with it etc to stop it!

Has anyone found a decent reliable housing to use? Dont really want to buy another cheap one and have the same issue again 2 years later!

Last one I bought was a genuine new old stock from a crate engine.

With the wife’s ka the cheap eBay copies never lasted much over a year.

Genuine housings are becoming hard to come by, and even then, cost an arm and a leg...

Keep an eye on ebay for a genuine one or post out to some breakers yards. although expect to drop your strides!
