Picture from Snetterton in October

The car is still in Essex. It is being used as a template for the next chassis at the moment, they are measuring up and making spare wishbones etc etc. The engine/box is having a new plate made for the new car which will drop the engine package by 18mm in the chassis.

Mine is chassis No3 and the other one (chassis No2 as it goes) will be out in the OSS Endurance series next year with the lowered engine. Any developments will be feed back either way and I'll get to drive the other car.

In the near future I'll be having a seat fitting session and will be getting the car and trailer wrapped. I should have the car in Kent over the Xmas period. I have a test day in early March at Blyton and then the British Sprint Series starts in late March. I'm hoping to do a few track days Jan/Feb just to get some seat time as much as anything.

These are some ideas for the wrap. The Blue will be a mid metallic blue and the white is a pearl vinyl.

Looks great Jeff,

Personally I prefer the bottom graphics but that's just my preference. Would love to watch the car in action, hope the development goes well.

What engine is this running?

Good luck.

All the best - that looks a superb car, you must be really looking forward to getting it all finalised - I also prefer the bottom one with more white.

Very nice, just had a look at your lap around Bedford

Looks like great fun

jeffw - 26/11/17 at 09:53 PM

Not me in the Bedford Video I'm afraid.

nick205 - 27/11/17 at 02:54 PM

Liking the look of the car a lot!

The bottom of the graphics images has it for me.

loggyboy - 27/11/17 at 03:13 PM

more white and blue, less red IMO (not ideal considering the base colour!! lol)

Oh okay, still the car looks great. Is the day at Blyton a private track day?

jeffw - 27/11/17 at 06:45 PM

The 3rd March date at Blyton is private in the sense it is only a limited number of car running/testing but I don't think there would be an issue if you wanted to come and watch.

Bugger, typical as I'm on shift that day. I would like to have seen that run, guess I will have to try and make it to one of the sprint events.

Thanks anyway.

jeffw - 28/11/17 at 08:02 PM

I'll be back the following week to Blyton I think for another test day, I'll let you know which day.

big_wasa - 28/11/17 at 08:15 PM

I’ve been and watched my old car at Blyton.

Just park out of the way and walk twenty yards to prety much the only viewing area.

Thanks Jeff, if I'm off work I would love to pop up and watch if you don't mind.

jeffw - 16/1/18 at 09:36 PM

Had the car wrapped

HowardB - 16/1/18 at 09:47 PM

jeffw - 16/1/18 at 09:51 PM

perksy - 16/1/18 at 10:46 PM

That works really well

Love the shape of that car

I can’t help thinking that you should have ‘UK Sewerage Pumping Services’ or ‘Specialist Syphilis Detection Unit’ emblazoned on the trailer for security reasons.

Looks really good. Love the kart chassis up against the wall. Is that a 250E in the background?

jeffw - 19/1/18 at 09:44 PM

The shifter kart in the background was a Martin Hines kart in period which appears here

http://www.kartingmagazine.com/features/martin-hines-superkart-king/

I assume the No 1 plate was the fact he was Champion.

Completely lost me...

daniel mason - 21/1/18 at 08:18 PM

Stunning looking package that is!
I think he was referring to the fact that by garnishing the trailer with sexually transmitted diseases (non of which I’ve ever had) it may decrease the possibility of it all being stolen

jeffw - 21/1/18 at 08:28 PM

Wasn't aware Sewage Pumping was a STD although come to think of it there is a possibility it would be a niche interest for some (!)

daniel mason - 21/1/18 at 09:06 PM

Sewage pumping isn’t.the others are

jeffw - 21/1/18 at 09:16 PM

Really? I bow to your superior knowledge on the subject.

daniel mason - 21/1/18 at 09:36 PM

Likewise

adithorp - 21/1/18 at 10:20 PM

It's worth considering Jef as trailers like that are a bit of a target. I heard there was a blue one knicked fairly recently

jeffw - 21/1/18 at 11:51 PM

And recovered Adi....in no small part by me as you will be aware.
