I went out in the R1 powered Fisher Fury (480kg), and was very impressed with the power delivery, the torque band felt as flat as anything

I did think that the seq shift was awful.. wasn't particularly quick and was about as smooth as sand paper..

huge amount of low pressure in the cockpit at full speed down the back straight, felt like my helmet was going to be sucked off my head..

So there was nothing locost that was "Healeyesque" - had heard a whisper that "somebody" was going to launch "something" at Snet.

What was the yellow Healey in the videos?

I had heard rumours of a locost Healey body coming up - was this it?

As above it isn't a kitcar show as such, no trade stands or clubs. But it can save a lot of time and hassle if you've got the shortlist of manufacturers down to 3-4 as you can meet them all on the same day and get a fast ride in them all.

It's useful if you're looking to build a car as you can get a ride in manufacturers' demo cars - not all charge, and I had 2.5 rides (the engine blew up on one ride!).

If you do want a ride, take a helmet if you have a suitable one - there will be some loan helmets, but you may well prefer to wear your own.

Apart from that, and the chance to see the cars giving it some welly quite close up (we were on the pit wall most of the time), there's nothing...

If it is on I hope it is better than last year. I thought it was going to be full of trade stands and manufacturers stands for you to look round but instead it was a few manufacturers and mostly peoples own cars charging you to take you round the track. I paid £10 to get in to look at nothing as there was nothing to see, needless to say i did not pay 'x' amount to be driven round the track to see if I liked that particular manufacturers car.

Hi All

Not heard any mention on here about Total KitCar live (Snetterton 22nd July).

Should I take that to mean it is rubbish or just not been mentioned?

Many people going?
