J29 meet, Derbyshire? Revival?

Many many moons ago we used to have a meeting at the Twin Oaks then later it moved to the Young Vanish pub, the Twin Oaks is literally on J29 of the M1 and the Young Vanish around 1.5 miles along the A617 towards Mansfeild off J29.

Reason for post is there enough interest to revive it?

I'll sound them both out, its getting on for 10 years believe it or not since the last meetings, there is also Hardwick Inn close by that would also make a great venue......... Hardwick Inn any other suggestions ?

The Hardwick Inn also looks good, its who ever is going to give us the warmest welcome Jon, with plenty of parking, a good pint and food

Hi Jon. I wouldn't mind any of the suggested venues, but I'll plump for The Hardwick if it will get a consensus going.

Jon the main protagonist is rolling his fat arse and chins around in a TVR nowadays, big fella is on my facebook and pretty active.

My car wont be back on the road for a couple of weeks Jon but there are 3 or 4 of us from Sheffiled that would welcome a meet.

Has the meet fallen by the wayside now Jon? Id love to be able to get to a meet at least once a month.

Spoke to Jon at Blyton regarding this and tells me he has been really busy with personal stuff but is interested in a meet.

I suggest we crack on and get one moving as the weather and darkness is upon us now. Its going to need a good car park or well lit at least.

Any ideas between Sheffield/Chesterfield?

Hi The RHOCAR crew meet up 1st Wed each month at the Red lion at Todwick S26 1DJ
decent food and beer. Been getting a good show of cars over the past 6 months....
