hi, has anyone used there mig for alloy welding , never tried it, it would be interesting to see how other people get on

PaulBuz - 7/5/07 at 07:25 PM

I use a cheap mig to weld ally quite a lot on my build.
The secret is a fast wire feed & thorough prep. & cleaning Rescued attachment ebay stuff 228.jpg

The resulting weld is no where near as pretty as a tigged one, but if you are dressing the welds as I have above anyway, what does it matter?
