Just looking into reverse options for my Avon, I know I need a suitable starter motor and a small ring gear, but can anyone tell me what I should be looking for please

If, by chance, your device is propshaft driven with a Freelander differential, then you might find a tunnel-mounted bolt-on assemblage of some use.
