While I'm going through my IVA prep I noticed that my front braided brake hoses can just touch the wishbones at full droop. I needed to cover the
'lethally sharp' hex fitting on either end of the hose as well so I've fitted two pieces of fuel hose over the fittings and they are
long enough such that the fuel hose rather than the brake hose touches the wishbone. Anyone know if this will be acceptable for IVA? See photos

Do not know about IVA, but to keep hoses away from the bones put a twist in before tightening the half nut.
Yep twist the hose until it doesn't touch. I doubt putting rubber hose over it will be acceptable for the iva.
I think you have them positioned far too high on your side panels in my opinion. I agree about the 'twist them before tightening up' idea though.
Caution when twisting (assuming you're meaning torsionally) and "pinning" braided hoses in a twisted position. I've seen failure of a number of braided hoses which were created with a support bracket about 30 degrees out of kilter. People fitting them were twisting the hose and tightening it up and the braiding was fatiguing and ripping free of the end connectors in months.
It would be okay if you find some hose that will fit it snugly, then cable tie it on. You could even tie them to the wishbone as long as you get enough slack...
I have spiral wrap around my hoses the sort you put around wires worked a treat and the SVA man liked it
Cant comment about IVA as its been registed long enough to be pre sva let alone iva, but my brakehoses touch too, covered in that area with some clear tubing, so your not alone
