Googly Woogly Came up

so I would suspect they're probably M16...

From what i can see the pad size for the M16 caliper is 78 x 66 x 15 which is way too big (55 x 53 x 13)
I am pretty sure they are actually for ATE callipers but I have seen them used as substitute for the correct pad in Girling P14 and P12
callipers which used 533 or 535 pads. If the holes in the pad are too big for the pad retaining pins this is the case.
If you do a search on Brakes International online shop for part number BPS1533 I think it should be correct for your Grirling calliper. You can
check with the drawing on the Brakes int website.
The P14 was used on Chrysler Avengers and Sunbeams MK1 Escorts, Morriis Marina and when the Vauxhall Viva was fitted with Girling disc
brakes, also the rear of RWD Volvos and Saabs
The P12 was used on the Triumph Herald and Spitfire.
The type 533 (Brakes International BPS1533) pattern pad differs from the type 535 (Brakes International BPS1535) in that the the type 535 is
taller and sweeps more of the disc.
The dimensions of the type 533 pad are 65mm long 55mm deep
Cheers for the replies
Ive checked the above and still the sizes of the pads are out. They are 63x55x14?

I should have mentioned...they are from the rear caliper connected to a willwood hydraulic hand brake
The closest i can find are FF1600 pads

They look a bit like Triumph Herald or old Vauxhall to me. If you have a decent motor factors near by take them in and look in their books.
was gonna say , look like volvo rear pads ... , which is the same caliper as ff1600 ..!!!
After 6 hours in front of a laptop...and a few beers later i think i may have solved my own question
I think the calipers may be TRW steel universal calipers..
Compare them to mine...
They are from the early VW..which kind of ties in with my wheel PCD of 4 x 130! If im right then the pads are the following with dimensions of
56 x 53 x 15 mm
Phew! Now i have a starting point. If the price is right i may get new discs on overhaul the calipers
