Sierra/Cortina Stud Layout

Please can you advise whether the wheel stud layout is the same on the Sierra and Cortina front disk. Also can you use the Sierra XR4x4i disks on Cortina Uprights.

Again, thanks in advance.

same stud pattern, not sure about xr 4x4 discs, aren't they vented? can't see a problem as long as caliper can be attached, not sure if xr4x4 capiler bolts to the cortina upright though, and apparantly you're not supposed to split the m16 caliper to space it either

BUT

raldes sell a kit to do just that, so what do I know

The stud pattern for the wheels is the same, but on Cortinas the discs bolt to the back of the hubs - they don't get sandwiched between wheel and upright like on most other cars, and this bolt pattern is a smaller pitch circle than the hubs.

So Sierra discs will fit over the Cortina wheel studs, but the discs will be in the wrong place for the caliper, unless, of course the Sierra uprights are designed in the same way as the Cortinas?

The easy way to get vented bigger discs with Cortina parts is to fit Capri 2.8 vented discs
