Tudor (Ted) Miron - 15/10/03 at 08:52 AM

Hi All,
I'm looking for quality seats for MK INDY.
Looking for all options - leather, vinil, GRP,carbon - good quality.
Can someone advise anything ?
I'v heard about some very good ones form "Reachfield" or something....

Thank you
Ted

As I've said before I like the MK grp seats (r500 style), nice, comfy, light and very reasonable for £90 each i thought...

Hi Tudor!

I am going to fit Cobra Roadster 7 seats in my Indy. Personally I think they look the bo88ocks and will be more comfortable than bare GRP seats.

Check out COBRA for details.

Ned,

Have you sat in these seats?

I can see them being very flimsy, and not having much torsional ridgidity, ie press on the shoulder bit and it will twist very easily,

i may be way off the mark but it just looks that way to me.

anyone got a picy to post of these MK seats?

Might want to look at www.gtstuning.co.uk in the seats section. Various options available there.

Col,

Yes I have sat in these seats, albeit in a stationary car at the donington show, not on the road.

I think theres a pic on mk's website under their pics section, they're in the new red demonstrator...

Looked at Cobra roadster 7 seats - they look nice for people looking at this as not just a trackday car.

Bought a set of Roadster 7s as part of a recent group buy on here. Very pleased with the quality and comfort. They will fit well into my book width chassis and look the biz.
