Try redpip1984 on ebay. You can see the seats he supplied in my avatar.

quite a few people have gone the proper locost route and hacked up a camping mat and used that. Given that they're only a couple of quid it's got to be worth a try first?

Camping mat from Decathlon sports stores.

How wil the mat be attached to the seat?

Velcro strips?

I still have some 4mm thick black neoprene sheets with high grip backing form a job-lot I bought recently.
Size is 275 x 345mm so you can cut to size for seat base and sides as required. Also good for insulation and lining tank straps etc.
I've used them on my GRP seats and some others on here have used them as well.
£3/sheet plus postage.
Send me a U2U if interested.
Cheers, Pewe

How will the (fe)male velcro be attached to the seats? I don't even know if it comes in self-glueing? Also self-glued to the mat?

Yoga mats are a bit thinner than the camping ones. Very cheap here if you look around. Spray on adhesive and you're good.

I have velcro on my seat pads. One side is sewn to the back of the pads. Other side is self adhesive onto the seats. As long as they are clean first it works well.
