I bought this collection of engines with the intention of doing the required finishing touches, and then flogging them on ebay for £500-£900 each.
I have ran out of time doing this, and after annoying my wife with perpetual need to go into the garage I've realised its time to sell them on "as is" and so instead I will be selling them as they are at very good prices.
If there is no interest here, they will go on ebay.
so:
First - Honda Fireblade - sold pending payment, cbr900rr 893 engine, with JE pistons big bore kit to 974cc , and a flowtec head - cost over £2k for the work/parts. The valve stem seals are allowing oil past on the exhaust side due to the extreme porting job to the guides. Obviously big BHP comes at a price, and its regular valve stem seal changes.
The engine came out of a westfield car, and would make an EXCELLENT engine for anyone wanting pretty modern 1000cc performance for old engine money. Would also make the perfect upgrade for anyone with a 919 or 893 blade that wants more UMPH - just drop the motor in and the rest of your set up is good to go.
Currently the head is off, and I've removed all the valves for new stem seals. Just need to order seals for exhaust side, fit and reassemble.
I am only after £300 for this engine - NO OFFERS, that is cheaper than a stock 893!
Next - Honda fireblade 893 cbr900rr engine SOLD , with mildly ported head - completely stripped. ready for reassembly, or just rob the parts you need (gearbox etc) - SOLD SOLD SOLD
Next - a zx12r engine, bottom end stripped for winter check, all parts included except generator and generator cover. £350 NO OFFERS (you will be looking at best part of £1k for this engine complete - and it could be rebuilt in a few hours) will include .pdf manual.
Next - Yamaha r1 5pw, engine - complete with full loom as package - head is off after a ball bearing fell into an intake port whilst running. No damage to the bore at all, however piston crown has a few small marks, as does the face of the head. I will include a replacement piston. I am sure the head will be fine so it is included in the sale, however a replacement head is only £100. £300 NO OFFERS , again, this motor is worth a lot more - the bores still have manufacturing hone marks, so will make a great lump for someone.

I also have 20 odd cbr900rr fireblade cylinder heads, £20 each and a couple of newer fireblade heads too - again £20 each.
