My friend wants to learn to Mig weld and is looking for a cheap welder. Preferably near to sussex but could arrange a courier. Budget is around 80 pounds.

If you looking to learn, a cheap mig might not be the best start.
- As the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

That said, it supprising how cheap you can get stuff.

I managed to pick up a sip mig 130 for £10, but it was repair or spare.
Took it apart and cleaned the rusty contacts, worked ever since, so there definitely are some bargains to be had
