Need a sheet of carbon fiber to make a dash with so must be thick enough and around 90cm by 25cm.
Cheers

Why not make it from hardboard and skin in carbon fibre? Will cost alot less!

e bay for about £10-15 if you want the bumpy version which feels better than just vinyl.

I vote for skinning a wooden one. Honestly, the average person won't care if it's perfect CF or not and won't even care if it isn't perfectly shiny. I have CF vinyl on several parts, and it looks pretty good; not as good as my WAY more expensive CarbonMods front wings, but the price difference is massive. Keep in mind, the skinning won't turn out like the CarbonMods vids; nothing I've ever done does.

Thanks for all the ideas chaps. I rang a local carbon fiber rally place and they can do me a off cut of real carbon fiber that would do the job for £40. Does that sound a good price?

Instead of wood try using upvc bull nosed window sill covered in the 3m stuff, this would also meet radius requirements.

40 quid for a CF dash, seems a steal!

Just looked through your build pics cfc, the mk1 escort looks sweet and your striker is coming along a treat.

Did you do the full cage yourself? Something i would like to do long term.

Cage was done by Protection and Performance near Skipton.
