Advice Sigma/puma Gbox serial No

I was looking at DVLA form V627/1 it asks me for the Transmission serial no. The Puma/Sigma 1.7L gearbox does not appear to have a separate serial no. Can this be confirmed?

My SE 1.25 gearbox had a metal tag under one of the bolt heads with some numbers stamped on it (96WI FA FOF 5K06) but this is probably the part number? My 1.6 gearbox doesn't have a metal tag but looks like there was once a label stuck onto the top of it. My 1.7 is currently fitted to the car and I can't see any identifying tags or labels on it anywhere.

My label says 97WT LD FOF 7H01

I have googled it and it is not recognised as a Ford part No?

I just put down the engine number again. I don't think that they have an unique number.
