It's the only country i've been to which does more binge drinking and fighting than the brits! Seems to be a national pass-time over there.

Mr Whippy - 8/10/08 at 09:07 AM

the BBC seem a bit confused - "Iceland is famous for its hot springs, geysers and active volcanoes. Lava fields cover much of the land"

really...have they ever seen lava?! hint its not white and cold...

I have money in IceSave and the f**ki*g B**ta*d authorities have reneged on their commitment to guarantee my savings. Now the British govt is having to step in.

Therefore, as far as I'm concerned I already own a bit of Iceland. Before you lot start carving it up between yourselves, I'm getting first dibs on the Ferrari garage and the airport.

Bugger!! Well at least it looks like the Government here are stepping in and will hopefully sue the cr&p out of the country for failing to meet the bank's "guarantees".

Wouldnt you rather have first dibs on a big volcano to throw the bank executives and government in?? Throw Miss Iceland's boyfriend in there too please will ya??

The whole of Iceland was formed through volcanic activity and Lava fields DO cover most, if not all of the land.

They are fairly old lava fields though - most have fully cooled by now
