After a weekend of garage tidying and bench building , and more than a little heaving and shifting , I now have this sat in my workshop

New mill

I am so glad I bought that engine crane..........

Verrrry nice Claire - I wish I had the space for such a beast

I was about to ask where in hell Claire managed to find space for a workbench in the garage....

Has the Fury been relegated to the driveway?

Claire you've got more toys than Hamley's

I thought the fury has always lived on the driveway.

Claire uses her space efficiently

It does go in the garage..............between projects
I'm seriously thinking of building an extension on my workshop so I dont have to relegate the Fury to under a cover on the drive whenever I need to do a spot of work................

MikeR - 9/11/10 at 10:16 PM

why don't you just cover the whole back garden? You know its what you want to do.

(although i'm not sure what the neighbours would think or how much you could do legally).

Awesome Claire! Will you be CNCifying it?

I'd be willing to bet that the bench is already covered in a good layer of swarf, along with a missing cutting tool or chuck key...

I've seen a few articles on the net about CNC'ing this very machine.................and I've gotta say I'm tempted !
No layer of swarf yet.............but as the first water-cut adapter plate kit arrived today (big up to andyw7de ) watch this space......................!
