Westfield Body work

I have in my possesion a Westfield Seiw.
The question is will a scuttle and bonnet of other kit cars fit and if so which ones.
I would go to the westfield forum but I am on a budget to resurrect this car and I dont see why I should fit GRP panels with a fancy sticker on it and just pay for the name.

Cheers
Brian

I do not have first hand experience c Westfield but I have learnt a thing or 2 by building. There are no shortcuts. Believe this and you are on the way to a happy build

Tell me about it. At least the car(which although tatty) was all there and only cost £1250 and its IRS.

If it was a pre-lit the scuttle may be similar to other 7 style cars. But I seem to remember westfields have a little step on the scuttle and bonnet, so you'd need to make sure the profile of the scuttle matches the bonnet.

Bound to be one appear on ebay at some point.

I think you need to get on the Westfield forum. There's plenty of guys there who like to save money too.

Provide as much info as possible about your car, and a couple of pics as well

There are loads of old westi body bits floating about.

It will be a budget option that will fit if you are abale to fill holes and cracks and rub down and respray.

I bought some seiw bits on here and found it to be 2" wider than book.

I had an SEW scuttle to make the aeroscreen and an SEIW bonnet to repair yet the pair fitted together... weird! Scuttle was 42.5 at widest point if that helps? Locost is 42" and Roadster is 44".

I would say keep an eye on ebay for scruffy stuff because a new bonnet costs a cool £330 with the V8 bump thing on it..
