Anyone had any experience of this stuff on the bay: Thermo-Tec Thermo Guard FR - Sound &' Heat Insulation Mat 24"'x 48"' .

I need something to go around the bonnet & side panel where the manifold exits. It seems reasonably priced but wondering if better of using something without the sound insulation. I can't imagine it being very effective unless I did the whole engine bay. Anyone got any ideas for something locost ?
