Protection film

Anybody know where I can get the protection film from that you see new cars protected with when they are being transported.

I think it is basically a low tack adhesive backed vinyl sheet.

We need something to protect cars as they are being built up, and as always, these things seem easy to get in the USA and virtually impossible here.

My bodywork from Equinox came wrapped in lowtack clear plastic. I'll ask him where he got it from.

Have a search on ebay for "low tack protection film"

I asked dave at equinox, but he gets it from a mate so isnt sure.

I was told it was the same stuff that workmen put down to protect carpets. Low tack comes on a big roll.
Having never inspected either item though I couldn't comment.

Just dont leave it on for too long, mine was on a couple of months and left sticky stuff behind when pulled it off. Sticky stuff remover got rid of it easily enough tho.

cheers folks!

sticky stuff is no problem, pulled off paint would be though lol!!
