Seems a lot of money for bits of steel and ally....

Utterly ridiculous price!

It may have been worth a bit if it came with registration papers, but as it is, it's just a very badly damaged and badly weakened climbing frame! It's had work done to it and it looks poor!

Has the price of scrap gone up that much? Ridiculous especially considering there's no log book.

There isn't too much triangulation on that chassis. Was that common on Lotuses?

britishtrident - 5/3/13 at 07:07 PM

It has a history particularly with a Tony Southgate connection, and will be eligible for historic racing

The Seven S1 had even less but the the chassis weight is about half that of a Locost.

I know of a s1 or it could be a s2 lying in bits in a field!

At that price it might worth be worth salvaging out of the long grass

It's only attracting that price because of the IRS feature and rarity attached to it.
