CENTRAL HEATING HELP NEEDED!!!!

Hi all , need a bit of help! central heating has stopped working pump is running and both diverter valves are working ,pilot is alight on boiler but wont fire up !!timer has not worked for a while on the timed setting so we had it on constant(thermo valves on rads any way together with room stat and tank stat) is there any way of confirming the timmer by bypassing it???? help please .gary.ps the timer is a danfoss 103 !!

what make/model boiler is is there 240 going in to the boiler

its a back boiler a baxi bermuda.where will the 240 go to around the gas valve area??

no 240 will be going into the main block connector in the boiler then to the stat then to the gas valve the stat and gas valve might be 24v cant remember 100% a while since i done a bbu there the only three things that it could be ps doubt you will be able to check them though without removing the fire

The timer is only a switch, so just check if you've got 240v going into timer & does it come out?

If the gas valve has a black resin base under the grey cover on the power connector its 240v. If its a blue base its 24v. Normaly these are a grey push button honeywell gas valve and are readily available from a boiler spares supplier but you will need to stripdown the gas train to replace it and they dont come pre set for the correct burner pressure! So probably best to get a Corgi man to fit it and test it for you.
