Wheel Bolt to Stud converters

I am thinking of replacing the wheel bolts on the rear of my Sylva Riot to stud and nuts using the converters that Rally Design sell i.e.

Obviously they just screw in and then you put a wheel nut on. What concerns me is should I put something such as threadlock on the part that screws into the hub? I don't want them to come undone.

Has anyone used these/had any problems? Should I just stick to the bolts?

I used them on my riot with no probs however i now use normal wheel studs pressed into the fiesta hub

Can you remember which studs you pressed in and where you got them from?

Did you have to drill out the threaded part of the hole first?

i use them on my tin top with spacers i screwed them in with a blob of thread lock and have been fine for at least a year and i use the tuner nut style nuts

Good evening Rich,

I think something like these do the job, a small amount of drilling required then press them in.

Hope your all well..

Definately want to put some threadlock or similar on them before fitting. Should be fine though, a lot of RenaultSport owners who conver to studs do it this way.
