Love some of the features on this car - especially the nose cone and some other details - hate others!

upper wishbones with track-rod ends from a steering...interesting approach.

the car looks well built with lots of race-specific features and qulity parts used...but those ugly & cheapish motorbike / quad headlamps incl. their fixing with a flat-alloy piece is not a masterpiece of engineering.

by the way: its not a donkervoort...

the pictures from enginebay clearly show a manufacturers plate stating "superperfomance"
i only know this manufacturer from its Cobra-replica´s

also very strange is the year 1967 claimed for the cars age / title

Love the 'combat knife' in the boot. Interesting car actually, great detail. Look at the boot lid hinges, if that kind of detail is throughout the car it will be a nice build.

That car would have been originally built in the Hi-Tech (supplier to Superformance) factory in Port Elizabeth South Africa, although its clearly been modified since. I've seen a few other examples, I have photos of a "standard" one somewhere.

Hi-Tech also builds Cobras (as mentioned), excellent GT40s and some other cars. They have also built Nobel's in the past

Doesn't look like a Donkervoort to me, they look really rather nice IIRC.

The price seems optimistic (hopefull) at best

What's with the exposed intake trumpets and an air filter sticking out below them then Supercharged written on the side?
Apart from that I like most of the look, a bit 7, a bit Striker a bit more oval/grasser

I was about to say the same.

I like sevens for the simplicity, that just looks a mess. Leaving the trumpets on even though they are blanked off and it's now supercharged just seems silly to me, along with the bit air filter hanging out the side, just no!!

I quite like the looks of the basic car - the curved windscreen is a practical feature that's better dealt with than most attempts I've seen - but way too much fussy detail on that example for me, too.

Not sure how confident I'd feel wth a front suspension that appears to be held together by pinch-bolts, either:

Friend of mine works at HiTech in SA. they produced the 7 type, but im not sure it was their design, they often productionise others designs (Noble for instance). I have a set of the front uprights. Its a clever design if you want to alter settings quickly, inc even kpi. The clamping force is enough to ensure that the wishbone tubes and probably even the chassis tubes will be bent and kinked long before the clamping sections moved
