MK Indy Indoor Cover (w/cage)
chrisbmxr - 13/11/18 at 09:41 AM

Hi all,

I am fed up of my car getting dusty in the garage, so I'm looking for a half decent indoor cover which won't break the bank ... any recommendations?

I have seen a fitted on for £55 at everycarcovered.com, but as it's tailored I'm not sure if it will suit a car with a roll cage fitted?

Just wondered if anyone had found one that works well.

Thanks,

Chris

If its just indoor dust, surely any cheap car cover will do?

If you want something to double as weatherproof, go Halfords. The medium size covered my Zero no problem with some ratchet straps to hold it secure. Plus it was waterproof for whenever I stayed overnight anywhere outside. Just make sure the exhaust is cold first

For an indoor cover a couple of old bed sheets sewn together. Cheap as chips and will keep the dust off it.

Use an old king size duvet cover and cut down one side and along the top, saves sewing.

Good idea! Thanks!

The wife's gonna be pissed when she gets home though ...

Don't use the one that's on your bed or towards the front of the airing cupboard!

Go for one that's at the back of the cupboard and doesn't get used on the bed
