longitudinal middy bec

Im toying with putting a v twin longitudinally with a very short coupling onto a conventional lsd into the back of a buggy, are their any machines out there that have tis set up? think I saw a rear engined imp and that ultima.

Im intreaged in the shortest way of attaching the sprocket output to diff input, that will take up any angular or axial missalignment.

Didn't the Fury Menace use just the doughnut that Sierra have on one end of the propshaft?

It used a BMW coupling at the sprocket end like the phil allen coupling basically connected straight to a conventional uj conected to the differential end, whole lot was probably about 6" long.
